I’m attempting to summarize SDCCI 2011 with a sonnet. It’s been about 10 years, so go easy on me. Warning: I may have cheated with words, punctuation and spelling.
Last minute I flew to an epic con
To awake next morn amidst massive herds
Mooing my way wanting to scream KAHNNNNNN!
Arriving happily fenced in by nerds
All around me was comic book fandom
With Chewphiles crowding the alley
Nowhere whilst you see anything random
Geek Girls, Invincible, Dinos rally
Panels, costumes, creators brewing
Everyone joyous, Intrepids and geeks
Some poor saps think con is for screwing
If only they kneweth they were pipsqueaks
With hugs, trudging to our Turf, we depart
Recounting Aritfacts, that Haunt my heart
