I’m working on a chapter for a collaborative novel with 17 other writers. I’m writing from a dude’s perspective and it’s not as difficult as I thought it would be. Considering I’m not a dude, I thought it would be hard (snicker), but even though men and women have different ways of looking at things, we are all people so, it’s like I’m writing from another persons perspective, that happens to be slightly genetically different from me haha maybe slightly isn’t the right word…
I’ve been reading a ton the past couple months and not posting about it. I find the good in everything and shy away from criticizing because there is so much criticism on the web, and maybe I’m just a positive person. I think I’ll just rate what I have read so far and create a rating system in the process.
So I dig words, so how about some words to equal quality, likability, dislike, etc.
Alluring – fascinatingly sexy and intriguing
Brilliant – all meanings of the word said in a British accent
Bone-chilling – so scary my bones are cold
Epic – do I need to explain this…no
FANTASTIC – in honor of Fantastic Comics in Berkeley/I want more
Hallucinogenic – mind-boggling
Insipid – lacking flavor
Inspiring – high five to you
Merrymaking – causes feelings of nostalgic happiness
Pesky – annoying, but not a total loss
Soporific – makes one drowsy
Worthy – take a risk and buy it!
That’s probably enough so, here goes:
Blue Estate – Alluring
Captain Sully & Millie Preview Book – FANTASTIC and Merrymaking
The Danger Club Preview Edition – Epic
Dynamo5 – Worthy and FANTASTIC
Four Eyes – FANTASTIC and Inspiring
Graveyard of Empires – Worthy and Bone-chilling
Green Wake – Bone-chilling and Alluring
Hellcity – Soporific (although I haven’t finished it yet because I fell asleep)
Kafka – Worthy and Brilliant
Poseurs – Merrymaking
Reed Gunther – Merrymaking and Worthy
Saga of Rex – Epic, FANTASTIC, Merrymaking
Skullkickers – Brilliant
Super Dinosaur – Worthy and Pesky-just Derek Dynamo that is
Undying Love – Worthy and Alluring
X-ed Out – Hallucinogenic
That’s all for now. I don’t know if I’ll keep this rating system. Just thought I would try something new!
Also I took these pictures last December. These children are totally unrelated and came at separate times to listen to the musicians:
